​General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all sales of my handmade knives – whether you contact me via my website, email, Instagram, or through the contact form.
 

2. Ordering Process

The knives shown on the website or social media are not legally binding offers – they are an invitation to get in touch. Once you confirm your order and I receive the payment, the deal is considered final.
 

3. Prices & Shipping Costs

I operate under the Austrian small business regulation (§ 6 Abs. 1 Z 27 UStG), so my prices are shown without VAT.

  • Austria: free shipping

  • EU (outside Austria): flat rate of €15

  • Non-EU countries: upon request – all customs duties, taxes, and fees are the buyer’s responsibility
     

4. Payment

You can pay via:

  • Bank transfer

  • Cash on pickup

Shipping takes place after payment is received.
 

5. Shipping

Your knife will be securely packaged and shipped via Austrian Post to the address you provide. Delivery time depends on the destination.
 

6. Right of Withdrawal

As a private customer, you may cancel your order for a ready-made knife within 14 days without giving a reason. In that case, you’ll cover the return shipping costs.

Custom-made knives (so-called “semi-customs” – e.g. specific handle material, dimensions, or requested details) are excluded from the right of withdrawal as they are made specifically for you.

A sample withdrawal form is available upon request.
 

7. Warranty & Service

My knives are handmade with care and experience. If something isn't right, please just reach out.

In case of a material or workmanship defect, you can choose between repair or a refund – whichever suits you best.

Additionally, I offer one free maintenance service per year – including sharpening, oiling, and cosmetic touch-ups. You only pay for the shipping.

Please note: I cannot take responsibility for damage caused by improper use (e.g. prying, throwing, or misuse).
 

8. Age Restriction

I only sell knives to customers aged 18 or older.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are of legal age.
No separate age verification is conducted.
 

9. Liability

I am not liable for damage resulting from improper use or unauthorized modifications to my knives.
Please use your knife responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.
 

10. Legal Matters

Austrian law applies. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.
If a legal dispute arises, the place of jurisdiction is my business location, as far as legally permitted.
 

11. Final Clause

If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, the rest shall remain unaffected and fully enforceable.
